honestly and sadly, the only real place I saw to hide was at Costco. not in the equity, in buying hundreds of cans of beans and sacks of rice. seems to be a better trading commodity than gold if we hit hyper inflation (which I don't think will happen). outside, the chinese manufacturers are going bust at an alarming rate. they didn't have money to finance out a year so they are robbing us of our deposits here and there. the expression that i read yesterday was something along the lines of "the US currency is the worst currencty in the world, right after all of the other currencies."
