Didn't know that. Here if VA, open carry is also legal. Few are brave enough to actually do it, due to the harassment. Easier to get a CCW and not worry about getting harassed. A few year back there was a VA club that would meet at Fudruckers for dinner. All would open carry into the store. The Fairfax County police were called and the officer's didn't all know the law and had to have a huddle in the store to discuss if any laws were broken or not. None were broken, I'm sure to their horror and dismay.
