If that was the case wouldn't it be in Chinas best interest to force Kim to divert money from bomb development to food development? I know, looking for logic here might be futile...

The brainwashing in the country has been so horrific that I don't think any North Koreans can be called quite right in the head.

Made even more horrific when you have a large chunk of the population living off grass stew (with the occasional sneaker thrown in for flavor).... it'd be funny if it wasn't close to reality.
