First thing…..I don’t smoke! Second thing is that I’m no admirer of Chavez, however, the current efforts to denigrate OUR president for him shaking hands with another human just goes to show the banality of those here that suddenly are so offended by such. Thus, I shared a photo of Reagan doing the same thing with a Communist leader. If you like I can show you a picture of Nixon doing the same with a Chinese leader, JFK with a handshake with a Communist. If you want photos I can show you pictures of the Bush gang shaking hands with the very person that funded the attack on our nation on 9-11. Isn’t it amazing, the vary nation that funded and supplied the manpower to attack our nation, and that nation is the ONLY nation to be afforded more than one trip to Crawford Texas…..and to think Tony Blair thought he was Bush’s best friend.
As for Chavez, don’t you think it funny that Palin doesn’t want our US stimulus package, but then allows Alaskan citizens to be kept from freezing to death in the winter by taking handouts from Chavez? Same thing for citizens in NY, Mass., Conn., RI, Maine! Go to Fenway Park in Boston, there you can see hanging on those ivy walls, advertisements paid for and by Chavez. Every time a home run is hit over that storied left field wall the TV cameras swing that way....giving Chavez his desired free TV commercial. Same thing in Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas! Texas, where there is a governor that doesn’t want US stimulus money but just a few years ago the same Governor, Rick Perry, was wooing Caesar Chavez by inviting Chavez’s handpicked ‘muchacho’ to Houston to attend the Super Bowl. Where was all the outrage when a Republican was kneeling before a ‘two bit’ SA dictator when he was trying to entice him to set up his headquarters’ operation in downtown Houston, Texas..USA?
Eagle, if you would stop listening to “Fair and Balanced” Sean and Rush you might understand a few issues, such as the FACT that Chavez pays into the US federal coffers, the coffers of TEXAS and for that matter probably most of the states in the United States of America……….hadn’t seen one state turn down his money! Corpus Christi, Texas loves Chavez! Lake Charles, Louisiana loves Chavez! Heck, Eagle, if you have ever flown on a commercial airline, I bet YOU love Chavez!
And you know what, Eagle! You are reading all this and you STILL don’t have a clue as to how embedded Caesar Chavez is in the fabric of the United States of America economy……all the while you are probably putting money into to his pocket! (ROTFLMAO!!!) |
