<don't many creationists assert organisms were placed here on a certain date and they haven't changed at all???

Young earth creationists believe that, I would say.>

OK, well, what does everyone think... is teaching THAT a good idea? I would say that teaching that is a bad idea and an obfuscation of the truth, since we know some interesting information on the age of the earth??? I'd be interested in what everyone thinks about this... especially Greg????

<But be aware, creationist is as vague a term as evolution. >

Yes, but I submit to you 'evolution' is also a vague term... I think both are worth 'defining' to some degree if we are looking for the TRUTH about what should and should NOT be taught in schools?? ANyone?
