Nothing to be petrified about--stay calm, identify the stocks that you are interested in and the entry points and then look for the market to stabilize.

I am fine--down on my long positions but the OEX puts are helping out. Ironically, if the market drops another 800 points, I'll be making money had over fist because the puts will be worth much mor ethan the decline in the value of the longs.

That is ignoring any gains on the futures
