benwood, i also stated the EARTH was cooler than in 1998 in spite of 10 years of flooding the earth with CO2. in addition, the cooling trend has been pretty consistent - so it wasn't just a one time pop in temp in 1998. that's not anecdotal. i have no problem trying to address pollution or clean up the environment. i have a big issue when LIES are spread to induce FEAR to meet someone's selfish objective. tell the TRUTH and let's discuss it from there. the truth is this is a complex issue and we really don't have our finger on the button of how all this GW works. my observation, albeit anecdotal, is that weather seems to be getting more extreme in both directions. if true, i don't know why and i don't trust those whith a financial agenda who mislead the public like al gore. when was the last time he said that the earth (an undisputable fact) has cooledover the last 10 years?
