You don't think the markets were panicking near the end of Bush's term? A drop from a high of 12,000 to a low of under 7,000 in a few months is not a panic? Credit markets freezing, huge daily swings on the slightest of rumors, financial failures and emergency bailouts, and that's not a panic?

Geez, you're more in denial than I even imagined.
