Given the ever worsening chaotic British debt news, (and that's before the US congressional fights over Obama's ever increasing money supply appetite gets to the floor over the next 2 months), gold just may very well have begun its retracement to a test of $1,000 once again.

As debt increases inexorably and exponentially over the next few months, so too likely will POG.
