What a pain. McAfee will only allow me to modify access for a programme installed on my PC, i.e. I can't just type in Editgrid because it is looking for exe files. And it seems the only way to turn the firewall off is to allow all access to every programme and then painstakingly reset up all the permissions I already have, or shut down McAfee altogether, during which time I am vulnerable to attack. Too much hassle. LC
