comrade konrad, you should check Keynes's record in the crash of 1929.

Also, he once had Cambridge University long on so many wheat contracts that he feared they would have to take delivery, and seriously proposed storing the wheat in Kings College Chapel. Would have made evensong a little hard. Happily the market rallied and he was able to get out.

I take it you must admire John Kenneth Galbraith?
