Funny you mention them. I was looking at it a couple days
ago myself. Chipolte is a decent little place - simple, quick,
low price points - food is good for the price. I just
didn't see the volume - like a MCD. I didn't pull the
trigger for because the price points should attract people
in a recession. We were eating there, in lieu of our normal
expensive night out, precisely to save money. So I passed.
But agree the stock looks rich. Figured I needed to find
one like RUTH to short. Chipolte may very well work out - but
people really seem to be stepping down $$ as opposed to
not eating out - the high end is feeling it.
