Steve...Sorry my friend, I'm going to disagree with you on this issue as it appears that Obama is looking to garner the minds of our youth...aka...the Brown Shirt gangs of Hitler. Lorme is right.....we have our educational system to teach our kids all they need to know. The following really scares me... "As the leader of President Obama's Helping America's Youth initiative, Michelle Obama will oversee 10 Federal agencies in a groundbreaking partnership that realized the vision of the President Obama’s Management Agenda. Through a national conference in Washington and six regional conferences, Helping America's Youth will teach more than 1,000 community members new strategies to address the needs of at-risk youth." Just what strategies will these community members be teaching our youth. Just another waste of money (IMO)...certainly something that G.W. would never have done. At least I can give him credit for this firmness...though I can't think of many more that I agreed with him. So at least I'm willing to give credit where credit is due.
