They're calling it 'Presidential Poison' The only people who are 'poisoned' are the right and they have been poisoned ever since Obama got elected. In the meantime, more and more Americans are happy with his performance to date [see today's poll]. Clearly, the right is out of step with the rest of the country. That's not necessarily a bad thing but the aggressive and argumentative attitude of the right is making it a bad thing. At some point it looks like the right will overstep its bounds and then there will be repercussions.
