Look at the graphs. The "big" picture is that inflation is now on an exponential curve.

What you cite is a blip, an anomaly, in the grander scheme of things.

The seeds became plants the moment the treasury announced its intention to purchase long term bonds over the next 6 months.

The annual rate of inflation is now on an exponential curve with no barrier to its growth in sight.

Commodity prices are likely to imitate inflationary exponential growth when measured yr/yr 12 months out.
