"Have you ever wanted to say something and didn't know what you wanted to say?"

Forgot to respond to that one, David. Yes... it is probably a very common phenomena, too, I would guess. In conversations and communications with other people, it results in either things being unsaid or things being said (in the attempt to communicate the issue that we aren't able to frame with our thoughts) that don't succeed in expressing it and perhaps giving the wrong impression as a result.

If I want to say something and don't know what to say when praying, though, it can be said by praying in tongues. The spirit speaks, communicating clearly, but the mind still doesn't necessarily know what it was. But it gives relief/comfort to the spirit.

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered" Rom 8:26
