All,
My two cents worth:
I think based on the lack of use at the World Series, combined with the lack of exposure which will occur over the winter months, we will see a steady, if not possibly quick, reduction in share value.
However, IMO either 1) Questec and it's product will be successful in the future (1-2 years) with a significant gain in the share price or 2) the company's product/software will be "aquired" by a larger company at a price per share higher than we have seen up to this point.
If this is a correct view of the future, then this winter could be a great time (maybe the last time) to get some of this stuff cheap. If you are here for the long term, the upcomming fall in share price (maybe as low as 15-20 cents this time) is an opportunity. If the timing is right, you may be able to sell for a loss (taxes) and then still get it cheap before the start of the 1998 baseball season gets it rolling again.
Based on history, I don't see any significant news coming out that will cause this to move higher until next year. Personally, I'm hoping for a big fall in price so I can get alot of this over the winter. Hopefully, the historically predictable rise we see next spring will get us to the 1.50-2.00 by summer and then product recognition will hold it at those levels after the season is over.
Stay long and prosper (IMO)
