Apparently feedback loops are positive some times and negative other times. Thats the answer I've been getting. Awful convenient. Want to scare people? Cite positive feedback loops that'll really push up temps. Want to explain why things in the past epics didn't keep heating up and up and up, well, negative feedback loops moderated temps. Sheesh.
