Hong Kong, a major exchange, is the underlying concern. Right now the bond market is a safe haven, plus add the fact that Greenspan, may not be able to reduce rates. His past performance after the '87 crash serves as a clue to what his reaction will be if further errosion occurs in US equities. OF course, we get to listen to him Wednesday, I think, before Congress. Just my thought.
