In most processes I've seen, there are positive feedback loops. They work similar to viral vectors. They eventually peter out, though. Same with any positive feedback loops from GHGs. The Earth's processes are plenty capable of dealing with any human emissions levels. The Earth will be just fine. That has never really been a question for most scientists. Rather, the real question is what is the range within which humans can survive without catastrophic financial or population loss.
