First of all, the idea that a 9-11 style attack would work post 9-11 is, as per your usual, laughably stupid. We had increased security, air marshals, and an American public ready to roll on any potential hijackers.

9-11 had the element of surprise. As Condi put it, "No one could have imagined them taking a plane, slamming it into the Pentagon - into the World Trade Center, using planes as a missile."

The idea that the terrorists would succeed twice with the same plan is silly.

Second, the time line doesn't add up.

And third we have the director of the FBI Robert Mueller saying, not anonymously, that torture didn't get us any actionable intelligence.

You have an anonymous source, in other words: your usual bullshit.

So for you to say, "The argument that lives were saved is proven" is just more laughably stupid nonsense from a laughably stupid hack.
