The change I voted for was renewable energy made a priority, improving our diplomatic relations with other countries, and investing our money in Americans not Iraqis. By all counts, I'm getting what I voted for.

I don't like the runup in debt any more than you do, but I do believe that it is necessary to avoid a repeat of the Great Depression. It will come with a long term cost though to the dollar and inflation...there is no denying that. As far as the bond market, you'd be wise to put your money elsewhere. The bond market won't provide a very good hedge against the coming inflation nightmare.
