Super, super news, KR!
I am part of a cancer benefit show in June and we list our family and friends who are battling, or whom we have lost, and best of all, those who are winning. Until I sat and wrote them all down, I had no idea how long my list was, and I realized anew how viciously I hate this disease.
All the band members are fairly old (but really terrific musicians!) and all either have had cancer or lost people close to them. It's funny to see all of us old codgers rocking out, although I prefer to think of us more as eminences grises.
We're doing a lot of Billy Joel and some Elton John, and some Beatles- and even some show tunes. Having a great time, and all for a great cause.
