But as I mentioned, if the odds are even just 50/50, or 90/10 for that matter, the consequenses could be so dire we would be fools to not figure it out for sure.

Yes.. radical climate change in EITHER direction would have repercussions. Actually global cooling would be worse because crops would fail and people starve.

And yes.. we need to figure it out. But we need to be intellectually honest and recognize that both human and natural forces are involved here. And when nature take the opposite direction to humanity, we're going to lose every time.
