What kind of logic is that? Liberal logic? The more easily someone is impressed the less desire I have to impress them. That is not to say I worry about impressing anyone regardless of how aloof they seem. I don't assign much intelligence to people writing the news anymore, it's become a popularity contest They may be intelligent but seem devoid of common sense. If a theory seems absurd they go with it if the person seems credible based on their belief system. Witness, the man they chose to lead their party in 2000 went on a bender over Solar Maximum flares but mislabeled the results as man made. Now that it is obvious that the theories are wrong they don't want to cover the story.
