It is to those who have taken time, with an open mind, to get the facts.

If your primary source of information is nutjob blogs, I can imagine it isn't clear at all.

Why did Obama refuse to release details as to the benefits of these interrogations -- the information that would be less damaging to America -- while releasing the more damaging details of the interrogations?

If there had been no benefit derived from the interrogations, it would have totally eliminated the argument to just release those details. Obviously, the Obama administration determined that releasing the benefits would damage his political argument. There is no other explanation.
