Funny story......Oklahoma, one of the reddest states in the union, decided to pick a state song. They decided to go with one of the songs from an OK band, the Flaming Lips. The day the legislature was going to vote on the song, one of the band members showed up wearing a red Tee with the hammer and sickle on it. Horrors! The legislature when ballistic and refused to approve the song. As it turns out, the governor is a huge Flaming Lip's fan and throught resolution, he approved the song without the legislature's approval. [EOS]
