At least they don't have code that says if (software = "Netsape" \|\| "Non-MS") { coredump() } What? Are you trying to look stupid and ruin any chance of being taken seriously? You're doing a fine job. I was on HP Unix for 8 years. I could go for months without having to reboot. I once had an uptime of 220 days, and then it was because of an UPS outage. So go get a machine for $2000 and run HP Unix. Oh yeah.. you can't. I'm now on an Dell 200 pro running NT, and I have to reboot every other day. It is slower than my 150p running W95. If this is true, you have a setup problem. I'd be willing to help you with that. Also, slower at what? So you must write great quality software. I bet you don't have a computer science degree. I do have a computer science degree. Sorry. But I wouldn't say I write great quality software. Very few people do. Some work at Microsoft. Most don't.
