In spite of your hysterical chicken little routine, 233 years after our founding, 77 years after FDR's first election, The United States remains the preeminent military and economic power in the world...

Hysterical chicken little routine? My remarks were 100% factual. FDR was a great wartime president. But by his own analysis the New Deal was a failure.

But his actions in his first term prolonged a depression, dragging it out for a full ten years -- and it very likely wouldn't have ended then but for the war. FDR's policy simply prolonged the period of misery. BTW, this subject has been covered extensively by several excellent authors, most notably "FDR's Folly" by Jim Powell, which proves beyond any doubt that his actions prolonged, not ended, the depression.

As to the US's current military and economic power, I would encourage you to consider that China owns America. And frankly, were we to enter into a military confrontation it isn't clear at all that we are today the "preeminent" power.

Look, these subjects are far over your head. You post here like a child with no real understanding of the world. Just about like tejek. So, perhaps you should just leave it be.
