What's failed capitalism is the concept of the Board of Directors. They were supposed to oversee and monitor the CEO and upper mgmt. Instead, they are in mgmt's hip pocket. Yeah and the markets have become such a short term game, instead of long term investments. Shareholders get a share (no pun intended) of the blame.
