>>" Harvard sold their honor in exchange for Kennedy cash. Did that book you read mention all the schools that kicked Teddy out? If not it is not worth the ink or paper required to print it. "<<

Your first sentence is silly...Harvard threw him out after he cheated and then he went into the military as a private.

Read "The Last Lion...the Fall and Rise of Ted Kennedy" and then you can write with some knowledge...the warts are all there and the editor of the book written by a group of Boston Globe reporters still concludes that Ted Kennedy is our greatest Senator.

You can conclude that he is a "disgrace" when you find out that many of the great medical centers our country such as the Duke Medical Center are there because of his efforts in the Senate and the armored Humvees of Iraq protecting the troops in a war he opposed happened in a large part because of his very supportive, activist efforts, that after 9/11 all 177 families in Massachusetts that lost loved ones on the planes or in the towers received phone calls from him and a "conservative" who disagreed with his policies, maybe all of them, said he was the only politician that called and how surprised she was by the truly human being she talked to on the other end of the phone but still opposes his ideology, the experience one of the families had sailing off Hyannis with Kennedy and his wife Vicky on the MYA, the reasons why Orrin Hatch and Kennedy are such close friends even though their politics are so opposite and why he has such respect from the Senate and love and respect from his large extended family.

The disgraceful parts are there and you can dwell on them and feed your "TKDS" but know when he dies an American treasure will pass.
