Fine, don't believe me.

I remember the conversations well. Even when it was pointed out to liberals that the GDP was expanding and that unemployment was below 5%, they dismissed those figures in one of the following ways:

- The expansion only benefitted the wealthy.
- The expansion wasn't as strong as it could have been. (That was CombJelly, IIRC.)
- Many people were underemployed or gave up looking for jobs under the Bush economy.

I also remember the 2004 campaign when Democrats were claiming the economy sucked under Bush, and that voting for Kerry meant voting for the return of the so-called "Clinton prosperity."

Why do you find it hard to believe that the Democrats would NEVER admit anything good about the economy when Bush was president? Like I said, it's all about gaining power. Mission accomplished, and we have you to thank for it.
