well don't get me wrong, universal health insurance that eliminate the middle men is not going to make us a healthy nation nor healthy communities, families or individuals. the role of health care per se in all of that is rather marginal, say on the order of 10-15%. personal responsibility is not all that it is cracked up to be either though. zip code matters more than that.
