Bush did the opposite. Duh! 9/11, two wars, the Clinton/Gore recession, Katrina and then another recession at the end of his term.... He was President....not God. Certainly, Bush's own budget policies were not good and that contributed which is the main beef most conservatives have with Bush. The Repub. Congress before they went over the cliff is more responsible for the economic shape the country was in at the end of Clinton's term, although you have to give Clinton some credit for signing on.... J.
