If you think Israel doesn't use the equivalent of "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques", you're nuts. Their very survival depends on it.

And the same can be said of Great Britain, Obama's ignorant reference during the bogus press conference this week:

The reality is that these techniques are employed by just about all nations which run any kind of intelligence operation. At all. It is the very basis of so-called HUMINT.

By banning the use of these techniques in even the rare circumstances the US used them, he has massively increased the likelihood of future terrorist acts against us.

Not only did Obama lie about Great Britain he lied through his teeth about whether the techniques worked and there being alternatives. Of course, first they said, "they didn't work" -- but after Cheney called him on that lie, he said, "Well, they worked but we could have done other things." Another lie.

The CIA documents made it clear they had exhausted all alternatives before the authorization for waterboarding was requested. The interrogations were gradually escalated, beginning with politely asking for the information. KSM's response was "You'll know soon".

The release of personal details about the interrogators by ABC last night is treason. I would favor the reporters standing at the firing squad for this action.
