Actually --- I made NO ARGUMENT AT ALL... (nor raised any discussion at all) --- about ANY proposed laws.

All I did was point-out one *true fact*: President Bush pushed his tax changes through Congress in 2001 by using the exact same legislative tactic that people are talking about now, 'budget reconciliation'.

Both Parties have used the tactic (on and off) over the years. It has a LONG legislative history.
