This country is a country of laws. The laws of the land are not racist, quite to the contrary they are anti-racist to the point of a legal sensitivity to related issues. So, you are wrong, this country is not racist.

There are and always will be individuals and groups who are threatened by people who are different than they are and who are vigilant to the point of vindictive conduct, that is certainly not the norm in our culture.

Any institutionalized segregation, discrimination, bigotry, and general intolerance of differences has been eliminated from cultural mores.

Open racism is unpopular and politically incorrect. You are one of the few who has been bold enough to express it on an SI discussion thread. But you justify it by claiming it is everybody else. Insidiousness is always justified that way, just as liars justify their lies, bullies justify their brutality, and cheats justify their corruption.
