What crisis?

Housing prices in some areas (but not all) got ridiculous due to speculation, leading to a bubble that, as bubbles will, burst.

The people who paid bubble prices for houses and the people who loaned money to bubble buyers lost out. Some are having difficulties.

The ones who got stuck, for the most part, were pretty foolish, and as foolish people will, they are blaming everybody but themselves for their foolish choices.

That's what I see.

Unless you mean the swine flu "crisis," another media hype.

My take on events, old news media is being overtaken by internet media, and all involved are competing to sensationalize stories in order to attract audience and therefore ad revenue. Sensationlism sells.
