So since you say Christ was tortured by crucifixion, we definitely tortured prisoners by an extended version of it...
Near drowning, ie waterboarding, is torture since the victim is made to feel as in drowning.... Anybody ever hold your head under water that you were incapable of escaping from....???
Doing it 186 times to the same person is beyond torture...that is sadistic torture....

Don't drag out the Bush Admin definitions.....those are intentional rewrites to allow Bush to do what are criminal acts..... Incidentally Bush issued about 900 signing statements exempting him for the bill he was signing into law.... It's good to be the KING!!
