Yes, the number of people who are suffering foreclosure is too small to matter - not enough to raise a well-regulated militia with the right to bear arms to and take over Washington.

We are now years into the market clearing process and still no catastrophe, and it's fun for Big Ben who can test his helicopter theories about deflation in a big-time real-time 3D experiment.

Gold bugs are lurking around waiting for their day in the sun, hoping for catastrophe, or at least disaster.

House prices are coming down nicely but still not cheap enough that I'm willing to buy half a dozen holiday homes. It doesn't seem likely to get that cheap. Maybe one bach somewhere will come into buy range, but I'm not holding my breath.
