I have a doctor that practices out of a hospital and I asked about door handles and germs, he said cleaning staff disinfect them regular through out the day.

I had a 1 month stay in the hospital back in 1990 my kidneys went haywire and the cleaning staff back then were disinfecting hard surfaces every morning in my room. That was 19 years go.

I work in a field where I come into contact with blood, and my doc said Hep B can survive in dried blood for weeks, so I got a series of HepB vaccines, 3 shots over a year period.
