"wouldn't ever" has a very specific meaning.

again, 100% proof your original statement was wrong.

you can argue that you weren't 100% by much, and we can have that discussion, but trying to argue your being 100% wrong doesn't matter because it wasn't by much is silly justification for ignorance of this issue on your part.

a very sick person will often choose not to spend $100s of thousands to litigate - that doesn't make the system right.

you also misunderstand "one off." one off means one deals directly with the insurance company - no company inbetween.

those are the people at risk of being shut out.

if you work for ibm, ibm can wield tremendous weight against a health insurer unless they want to lose the account.

this keeps lots of the problem in check... until such time that one deals directly with the insurance company.

i think you are biased because you make a living off the insurance industry.
