I'm sorry, but I just don't understand this opinion.

First of all, what do you think Netscape Navigator would look like today if MS had not pushed it with Internet Explorer? It wouldn't be nearly as far along as it is. MS has caused them to push themselves and the technology.

Secondly, what technology is MS holding back? Ususally Microsoft will see a good technology and try to implement it, copy it or buy it, whichever is fastest to market for them.
