Kevin, consensus is down open. They can't "scare up" buyers it is said.

850 is next support.

They say that the classic look for a "bottom" is big spread between bid and ask.....why is that?

There was some other indicator I missed.......those two things would induce traders to get in long.

last 2 hours brought fearful institutional selling

Soros lightened up bonds, China did too.

Something about some odd thing now with bonds with a short term note out of place with another short term bond.

Guess we DID get worse decline....wonder what would have happened on "blue, blue monday" as they say. They broke in with Peter Jennings on ABC.........oh, boy......
