Perhaps. And a lot of people believe we had no real choice in the last election -- liberal or more liberal.

But there is no doubt in my mind that McCain would have preserved MORE of our sovereignty, kept the country safer, and been more responsible fiscally than Obama has.

McCain would not have been my choice, but he is not an extremist, which Obama is.

Although, there are signs Obama is starting to learn that his extremism is self-defeating -- e.g., his decision late on Friday night to continue the military tribunals rather than to hold criminal trials for the GITMO detainees.
