Yes, FAZ has indeed fizzled.

But that means nothing.

There have been trillions spent, more or less ineffectually, to try to put you and lots of others in this happy whistling past the graveyard mood.

The kind of debt and dislocation we have seen in the past couple of years does not simply disappear so that everything is now righted.

The smart ones say things are going to become worse, that this is a temporary lull. I tend to agree.
