The inflation/deflation debate continues... All the prophets qualify their predictions with "might" "may" "if" "could". What kind of a prediction is that?

Which bookies are taking bets on "Might win, if..." LOL?

Here's the contradiction: they say monetary policy has created a disaster. They also say monetary policy won't make any difference.

So which is it?

Does monetary policy matter or not? Will it make a difference? If it matters now, it matters later.

They can't have it both ways! I love reading these guys; they're suckin' and blowin' at the same time.

Nobody knows for sure. People who are sure don't say "might", "may", "could" and "maybe".
