Well, let's keep things in perspective for a moment. Today was a 7% drop. Hardly a crash, of '29 or '87 where you loss over 20% in a day. Forget the number and focus on the %. What you are having is a long overdue correction of a meaningful nature. Unfortunately, I fear that it will rebound too quickly to have served the proper purpose, which is to bring stocks back into their proper value and not this new age fantasy that has occur the past few years. MSFT is not selling at a PE of 25. Hell, IBM had better earnings and got knocked down worse than this great example of these newage methods. When that overvalued piece of shit goes down significantly, then I think you could say we had a crash. I'm reducing my bond holding to raise even more cash which was rather large. I also did well with put's which the rest will be sold tomorrow. My portfolio did decline, but not near as bad as it would have without those put's. I also had some naked put's on Dell, OEX and MSFT. Well two out of three is pretty good. You have some serious damage right now and you could get a whipsaw action for the next few months. Be nimble if playing options. Don't hesitate to take them thare profits, bucko; when they present themselves. I'm going to buy some OEX calls tomorrow, but I ain't betting the ranch on it nor hanging around for long. Hmmm sounds like my sex life.....................
