Well I guess the market is a little cheaper today, but with the dow still up about ten percent for the year, cash, cd's, and my utility fund have still lagged well behind even after the last few days. So what questions does a saver wanting to be an investor have to ask himself now? (I am asking you people) Do I worry that with nearly all the world equity markets down that the already regionally lousy ecomomies (se asia) finally drag the US down with them. Do earnings crap out for the multinationals? Even as the PE ratio on the dow falls a bit, maybe profits do too? Should I make a bet on bonds (probably too late) or do I simply refinance the mortgage loan if bonds rally a lot in the so-called flight to quality. Lots to think about, what has changed?
