BAC - One of the more interesting things I've been noting about all the supposed hammering of crappy bank equities by the shorts is that there seems to be no evidence to back it up. Consider BAC. The stock was collapsing into early March, yet short interest remained flat. Shorts were not driving BAC into the ground as they would like you to think. Then, when the stock began bouncing, that's when the short interest began surging.

Shorts were waiting for a bounce to fade. Since then, they've been covering some of that back up. I've seen this pattern a lot.
